I was inspired ten years ago by
my little neighbor girl Mickey, who was diagnosed with
Juvenile Diabetes at age 3
. My quest began to teach others about diabetes. The path to a cure starts with education, and as Mrs. Minnesota, I will
continue spreading my message hoping that we will someday live in a world, where we can
stop, prevent, and reverse this devastating disease.
